Blue-gray Gnatcatcher
The Blue-gray Gnatcatcher is the northernmost-occurring species of gnatcatcher, and the only truly migratory one. Most members of its genus are resident in the Neotropics. The soft, rambling song of the Blue-gray Gnatcatcher usually contains some mimicked songs of other bird species.
Very fun to listen to the bird in the picture.
Thanks for your comment Marcos. It is a great way to learn the sounds of the various birds.
Hi, Laura
I just saw one of these for the first time ever on my mountain property in Georgia today! Must be migrating through. Looked exactly like your photograph. Wish I’d had my camera at the time, but of course, wouldn’t have captured it like you did. Lovely photo!
