I saw three of these little guys sitting on a railing along the Harbor on Sunday in Battery Park, just puffed up and very quiet. They didn’t move when I came by. There was absolutely nothing to eat in the vicinity and I wondered why they remained there. I started looking in my pockets or bag for something to give them and one of them hopped down and stood at my feet the entire time I looked. Couldn’t find anything. Now I am carrying birdseed around. Tell me they will be ok!
